Installation Scenarios for Stainless Steel Bollards

Stainless Steel Bollards are perfect for areas which require protection, without compromising on premium physical aesthetic. They can be used both commercially and in areas such as city centres.

An example of use within a city centre would be on a high street where bollards are a necessity to divide pedestrianised areas from roads without compromising on the aesthetic of the street. This keeps both pedestrians safe and the area populated. Removable stainless-steel bollards can also be utilised on the ends of high streets to allow for deliveries in a morning, or to open the street up for taxis on an evening reducing congestion.

An example of commercial application would be to protect already aesthetically pleasing locations such as glass or historical buildings, from vehicles which have lost control and potential ram raids that could cause structural damage.

Styles & Finishes

Type 304 stainless steel is an alloy comprising of 18% chromium and 8% nickel which provides good protection against corrosion and oxidation. Best used in areas of moderate exposure.

Type 316 stainless steel, although like the alloy composition found with 304, also contains 2% molybdenum which makes it considerably more resistant to corrosion and oxidation than the 304 alloy. Best used in areas of high exposure areas, such as within a 7-mile radius of the sea.

A mirror polish is available for a more premium aesthetic.

The option for these bollards to either be bolted to the ground or removal is available, dependant on the required permanence of the bollard.
